Reminder – Rome Annual ‘State of Our Lakes’ Lunch 
  
All property owners in the Town of Rome are invited to attend a forum and lunch on Saturday, 
June 7th at the Rome Town Hall sponsored by the 14 Mile Watershed Alliance, the Town of Rome 
and the Tri-Lakes Management District to discuss and learn more about the lake and stream 
water quality issues in our watershed.  Further major support has come from the three lake 
associations as well as Sand Valley and Visit Rome.  There will be door prizes, raffle baskets and 
a silent auction with items donated by local businesses and individuals. 
 
The June 7th forum will have exhibitors throughout the Town Hall and will feature presentations 
addressing water testing results, biochar technology, the new Farmers of the 14 Mile producer
led group and the Healthy Lakes grant program.  These short presentations will be followed by 
lunch and a question-and-answer period.  At the end of the event, door prize, raffle and silent 
auction winners will be announced.  All details are included on our poster.
