The Healthy Lakes grant program offers a 3:1 dollar match from the WI DNR, reimbursed upon completion, up to $1,000 for each project. You may have more than one project at a time on your property that is eligible for this funding. There are five practices that are funded under this program: native plantings, rain gardens, run-off diversion, rock infiltration and fish sticks habitat. Up to 25 projects can be funded each grant cycle. The next application deadline for Healthy Lakes grants is November 1st, 2021.
